Biography of Dr Alea Din
Alea Din received his Doctorate from UNSW and pursued dermatology to board certification in ANU. Alea Din has a lot of experience in the field, especially in Internal Medicine. Alea Din finished ANU in 2011 and has since gone on to do many great things around the world. Alea Din has also written several medicinal journals that have been peer-reviewed and approved for circulation in Medscape.
Dr Alea Din has cared for patients with a broad range of skin conditions at Concord RPG Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and the RNC at Newcastle where he completed the last half of his dermatology training.
His love for research in skin cancer and the effects of UV radiation and general health led Dr Din to publish his research in international literature, including the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and the Australasian JoD. Alea was nominated for the Schering-Plough Award that year and won the Best Presentation in 2005 at the ASM, awarded by the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
Currently, Alea Din also works as consultant dermatologist to the Westmead Skin and Cancer Foundation in Australia. Alea's surgical interests lie in non-invasive management of skin cancers as well photodynamic forms of therapy.
Alea currently has over 4000 Twitter followers, in the circles of 1000 people, and an impressive Klout Score of 87 (world influence) out of 100. He has featured as guest dermatologist on the Today Tonight panel for one season in 2011.
